When you want to lose belly fat fast, HIIT is your miraculous savior

How to lose belly fat fast

Short recapitulation about what HIIT is : High Intensity Interval Training.
It’s an exercise strategy where you give everything you have over a short period of time followed with a small break to recover

Why is this a great thing?

  • Burns a lot of fat
  • after burn effect

I first have to tell you something more about spot reduction. You know, the myth that says you can get a six pack by doing 10 000 crunches. Hate to break it to you but there isn’t something like spot reduction, it doesn’t exist. If you work out, you’ll lose fat over your whole body.

HIIT training at home :

Your at home and you have some spare time? Great try this 15 – 20min workout :

  • 25 squats
  • 25 push ups
  • 25 jumping jacks
  • 15 burpees
  • 1 min plank

Now take 1 minute rest and do this for another 2-3 rounds (depending on your fitness level).
You feel your heart rate getting higher? If not you’re doing something wrong!
The point is to keep your heart rate elevated. This way you’ll burn more fat and you’ll have a great workout.

HIIT training in the gym :

You’re ready with your training routine but you don’t want to go home yet or maybe you just have some energy left. Try this :

  • 30 mountain climbers
  • 25 kettle bell swings
  • 20 dead lifts
  • 15 dips
  • 10 weighted push ups
  • 5 burpees
  • 30 sec jumping rope
  • 1 min rest

By now you should be feeling something. Only 2 more rounds to go!

HIIT training outside :

Lovely to do when you have a park nearby and when the weather is too good to be inside.
First warm up with a 5- 10 min jog

  • 30 mountain climbers
  • 10m lunges
  • 100 m spurt
  • 25 squats
  • 20 dips on a bench
  • 1km jog

Try to do this for 3 rounds and you’ll have an awesome and effective workout!
